A Poem
by Kristoria
from Mrs. Warren's 4th grade class 2002-2003:
What is music?
Music is a feeling
That can be passed from one person to another
And recorded for others to share in.
It is something that can be easily understood,
But it is hard to explain to someone.
Music is love
That's what music is.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, and life to everything.

If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music. ... I get most joy in life out of music.
~Albert Einstein~

Music causes us to think eloquently.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

All art constantly aspires towards the condition of music.
~Walter Pater~

Music is what feelings sound like.
