Things you can donate to the music classroom:

Brightly colored copy paper
blank audio CDs
plastic CD sleeves
jewel cases for CDs
3-prong pocket folders
1/8" satin or grosgain ribbon in white, yellow, orange, green, blue, red, purple, brown, and black.
hand sanitizer
pencils
small toys for treasure box

ALSO:
¯Instruments of any kind
We can use instruments for demonstration and for student use.  If you were in a school band and still have your instrument, consider donating it.  We can also use any percussion instruments for student use.

¯ computer with related hardware
If you have a computer that is a few years old, it will likely have enough power and memory to support music files and music related programs.  We can also use the related hardware and basic software, like speakers, headphones, printer, cables, scanner, operating system, word processing, if you can donate those as well.

¯A "boombox" stereo CD player for the classroom listening center
Really, any stereo system will do as long as it can play CDs.  Headphones are a bonus too.

¯CDs of music we might enjoy in the classroom listening center
We like to have a variety of music for students to listen to in the Music Classroom.   Please make sure the lyric content is appropriate for children before you consider your donation.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

~George Eliot~
