Yellowed beads
Note the contrast in the color of these beads. The yellowed ones went through several cycles in a tumbler. The tumbler I used is called a "Chicago". I suspect the yellowing comes from the chemical properties inside the rubber barrel of the tumbler. It has a very strong petroleum rubber smell. The chemicals have probably leached into the beads somehow. I will now have to hand sand all these beads. Unfortunately there are over 100 of them!
